BREVE DESCRIZIONE DEGLI INTERESSI SCIENTIFICI

· - principles and methods of biological systematics, with emphasis on homology concepts, species and speciation, and fractal analysis of biological diversity.

· - relationships between developmental biology and evolutionary biology, with emphasis on problems of segmentation in arthropods

· - systematics, ecology and phylogeny of centipedes (Chilopoda), with emphasis on European and Neotropical fauna

· - history of biological systematics (ideas and institutions)
